The Traditional Cultural Spirit in Zhu Guangqian's “Serenity” Poetic Concept

朱光潜"静穆"诗学观念实质阐发的是中国传统文化精神,即融儒家的"和"、道家的"虚静"、佛禅的"止观"于一体,其核心是涵养心性、提升人格,隐含"以出世精神做入世事业"的人生理想。朱光潜肯定传统文化的生命超越与诗性人生情怀所构筑的民族品格,以"静穆"诗学观念显示出传统文化对现代诗学和现代人格建构的深层影响力。可见,朱光潜借西方概念复活了东方精神,"静穆"的文化根源在东方。

The essence of Zhu Guangqian’s concept of“serenity”poetics is to elucidate the spirit of Chinese traditional culture.“Serenity”integrates harmony of Confucianism,emptiness and quietness of Taoism and samatha-vipassana of Zen Buddhism.The core of“serenity”is cultivation of mind and promotion of personality.“Serenity”contains the life ideal of“Doing the world business with a world-indifferent mind”.Zhu Guangqian affirmed the national character formed by the transcendence of life and feelings of poetic life of traditional culture,and the concept of“serenity”poetics shows the influence of traditional culture on modern poetics and the construction of modern personality.It can be seen that Zhu Guangqian revived the eastern spirit with the western concept,and the cultural origin of“serenity”is in the east.
