The orderly promotion of the national vocational skill competition provides favourable educational reform objectives for colleges and universities,and carries out the teaching reform direction of"promoting education by competition,promoting learning by competition and integrating teaching and competition".Environmental monitoring-controlling skill competition is an important part of the national vocational college skill competition.We analyzed the contents of the national vocational college skill competition about environmental monitoring and controlling,discussed how the competition could lead professional training programs,and expounded the effects of the competition programs on the vocational colleges.The role provided a beneficial guidance for the construction and development of environmental specialty in the similar vocational colleges.
