导师资本何以影响研究生培育质量:6城市15所高校的数据 被引量:8

How does the Supervisor's Capital Affect the Quality of Postgraduate Education:Data from 15 Universities in 6 Cities

摘要 导师对研究生培养质量的重要性得到肯定,但缺乏机理分析和定量刻画。从非正式组织视域出发,利用66个师门656份全日制研究生数据来检验导师资本对研究生培养质量的影响,并分析师门组织特征、关系氛围的调节作用。研究发现:(1)研究生自评的培养质量中等,与社会期望有较大差距;(2)社会服务型、学术声望型导师资本对研究生培养质量具有显著正向影响,而人格魅力型资本影响不显著;(3)积极型师门组织、包容性师门氛围正向调节导师资本对研究生培养质量的作用,且包容性师门氛围调节效用略高。建议导师学术资本与市场资本形成良性互动,并重点建设师德师风,提升导师资本对研究生培养质量的指导效率;建立容错机制,营造包容性师门氛围,提高研究生的培养质量。 The influence of supervisors on the quality of postgraduate education is affirmed,but it lacks mechanism analysis and quantitative characterization.From the perspective of informal organization,based on656full-time postgraduate data from66shimen(a group of students with the same supervisor),the paper examined the influence of supervisors’capital on the quality of postgraduate training,and analyzed the moderating effect of shimen organization.Our research revealed that:(1)the quality of postgraduate self-evaluation was just at medium level,and there was a big gap to social expectations;(2)social service-oriented supervisors and those with high academic reputation had significant positive impact on the quality of postgraduate training,while the influence of personality charismatic capital was not significant;(3)active shimen organization and inclusive shimen atmosphere positively moderated the influence of supervisors’capital on the quality of postgraduate training,and the effect of inclusive atmosphere were slightly higher.The conclusions suggest that the teachers’academic research and practical application should be well integrated,and we should focus on the construction of teachers’ethics to improve the guidance efficiency of supervisors’capital on the graduate students’training quality,establish fault-tolerance mechanism and create atmosphere of inclusive shimen to improve the quality of postgraduate training.
