The Discussion of Entrance Transformation of Chinese Traditional Architecture From the Gable Side to the Eaves Side

中国最初的建筑是从山面进入的,而在长期的历史演变中,檐面入口逐渐成为中国传统建筑的主流形式,文章通过历史资料的考证和现存建筑的比对,尝试从多种角度去剖析和诠释这种转变逻辑,以期对中国传统建筑入口的原初形式有一个更清晰理解和认识。

The original entrance to Chinese architecture was on the gable side.However,after the longterm process of historical development,the eaves side entrance has gradually become mainstream.Through comparison of textual research and existing architecture,this paper attempts to analyze and interpret the transformation logic from several perspectives,with the expectation of obtaining clear comprehension of the original entrance form of Chinese traditional architecture.
