中美笔译行业标准就翻译质量控制的差异及其启示

Differences and Implications on Translation Quality Control in Chinese and American Translation Standards

通过解读现行两大中美笔译行业标准文件,对比两国笔译项目流程和质量要求,发现美国翻译质量控制在发挥项目经理的有效沟通作用、充分利用各类质量控制工具、独立的第三方审核机制等方面有着更为成熟的经验,旨在为我国翻译质量控制带来一些启示,并促进中国加快制定适应时代发展的新标准。

Through interpreting the current Chinese and American standards in translation and comparing the translation project processes and quality standards,this article discovers that American translation standard emphasizes more sophisticated experience of the project manager’s role in effective communication,making full use of various quality control tools and utilizing the independent third-party auditing mechanism in terms of translation quality control.This study aims to bring some inspirations for the translation quality control and promote the formulation of new Chinese standard to adapt to the request of a new era.
