The Design and Cartography of “The Digital Image and Planning Atlas of Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District”

高分辨率影像地图可以更好地展示地表细节,通过《广州开发区黄埔区数字影像与规划图册》的制作设计了一种重影像,轻地图表达的影像地图编制方式。通过内容设计、影像调色、符号设计、制图表达、版式装帧等几个方面对该表达方式进行阐述,该方法可以很好地应用于规划城建领域的领导工作用图编制中,为其他地图集的编制提供参考。

It is better for us to observe the surface in small details,by using the high resolution remote sensing image map.We have proposed a kind of image map charting approach about highlighting image and weakening map expression,through the project of“The Digital Image and Planning Atlas of Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District”.This paper elaborated this approach in the following aspects,including content designing,image toning,cartographic symbol designing,cartographic representation,format and cover designing and so on.This approach can be well used to produce the leadership maps of urban planning and construction,it also can provide reference to the designing of other atlas.
