为什么要研究地图文化?地图文化在城市历史地图集设计中的作用与影响有多大?以此问题为出发点,通过对地图文化的理解,结合城市历史地图集设计,以《太原印迹》历史地图集设计为例,融合了一些新思想和理念,提出设计原则、主题和表现形式的设计方法,为地图文化与城市历史地图集有机结合总结积累了一些经验。

Why study the map culture?How important the map culture is in the design of urban historical atlas?Based on this question,by understanding of the map culture,combining with the design of map,it is applied to the design of urban historical atlas.Taking the“Taiyuan Imprinting”historical atlas as an example,it incorporates some new thoughts and ideas,and proposes a design method of principle,theme and expression.All of these have accumulated some experience for the integration of the map culture and urban historical atlas.
