《庄子》外杂篇安“命”思想论析

Study on Finding a Place for "Ming" in the Outside and Miscellaneous Articles of Zhuangzi

《庄子》外杂篇对如何安"命"提出了自己的方案,认为在"安其性命之情"和"任其性命之情"之余,更当采取"不物于物"的具体策略,以使自己在保有性命情愫的基础上实现"命"的最大价值,即"终其天年"。"不物于物"的具体策略主要体现在"重生则利轻"、"不愿仕"、"不兴名"等方面,即轻视利益、不愿做官、拒绝名誉是使个体不被外物所役,即"不物于物"的具体对策。此安"命"哲学对于当今世人生命的安顿具有重要的启示意义。

To solve the dilemma of"Ming",the Outside and Miscellaneous Articles of Zhuangzi presented the concrete strategies,which contains the ideas of"submitting to the nature of'Ming'",of"maintaining the nature of'Ming'",and of"not being mastered by anything else".To get rid of being mastered by anything else,a man should"cherish life and neglect fame and wealth,""refuse to be an official,"and not"fish for compliments".This idea of finding a place for"Ming"has an important significance to us.
