孔子“思无邪”的误读

On the Misinterpretation of Confucius' Words " Si Wu Xie"

"思无邪"一语出自孔子,是孔子教学生以《诗经》修学应持的态度,在孔门弟子那里不存在理解上问题,中国古代学者如朱熹等人在理解上也没有大的分歧。它可以用孔子的另外一句话"克己复礼"来解释,二者都是孔子教学大纲"博学于文、约之以礼"的灵活运用与表述。但是在近现代学术上,却成为一个纠缠不清的问题。这是由于东西方治学之差异造成的,是在西方学术话语系统之下对中国传统文化的严重误读。

The phrase"thinking innocently"comes from Confucius.It is the attitude Confucius should take when teaching students to study the Book of Songs.There are no problems in understanding among Confucius disciples.There are no big differences in understanding between ancient Chinese scholars such as Zhu Xi and others.It can be explained by another sentence of Confucius,"Restraining oneself and restoring propriety".Both of them are the flexible use and expression of Confucius'teaching syllabus"learning from literature and conventionalizing propriety".But in modern academia,it has become a tangled problem.This is due to the difference between eastern and Western scholarship.It is a serious misunderstanding of Chinese traditional culture under the western academic discourse system.
