改革开放四十年来,中国道路开辟了人类文明史上崭新的现代化发展范式,在道路自主建构、发展趋向、演进路径上开现代性之新源流,给予西方资本主义现代性以根本性超越。世界上本没有中国道路,是中国人的实践活动与理论创造成就了中国道路。回溯四十年的发展历程,中国道路全面呈现了马克思主义的生命力以及社会主义制度的优越性,在演进过程中逐步形成了特有的道路标识,为科学社会主义的发展增添了无限活力,为人类文明走向现代化注入了中国动力。

Reform and opening-up has effected a pivotal change to China’s Path,kicking off a quest for socialist modernity.The evolutionary logic of China’s Path has revealed itself in four dimensions,including shifts in ideology,vision and strategy for economic development,state-building,and global outreach.Since embarking on economic reform and an open-door program,China’s Path has fundamentally transcended the Western Path in a multitude of ways and formed its own unique philosophical expression.Built upon materialist dialectics,China’s Path has over the past 40 years creatively reconciled tensions and contradictions arising between democracy and centralism,government and the market,order and change,and the value of human beings and the path for development,creating an intrinsic driving force for achieving sustained and steady growth.
