摘要
基本科学指标数据库(Essential Science Indicators,简称ESI)收录的论文都是经过严格的同行评议的论文,论文的质量相对较高。因此ESI高被引论文和高被引作者能够较好地反映一个学科领域具有高影响力的科研成果和科研人员的状况。文章运用科学计量学和地理信息系统的方法,分析了当前中国大陆地区生物学与生物化学学科ESI高被引论文和高被引作者的现状,以及两者在地域分布和研究机构类型方面的耦合程度。分析结果显示ESI高被引论文大部分为合作发表的论文,高被引论文和高被引作者的来源机构在地域分布以及来源机构类型方面均存在较大程度的耦合,并且生物学与生物化学领域的高被引论文和高被引作者主要来自高校而非科研机构。
Papers included in the Essential Science Indicators(ESI)are strictly peer-reviewed papers,and the quality of them is relatively high.Therefore,ESI highly cited papers and highly cited researchers can precisely reflect the status of high-impact scientific research and scientific researchers in a subject area.This article uses scientometrics and GIS methods to analyze the subject of biology and biochemistry in China's Mainland based on the current status of ESI highly cited papers and highly cited researchers,and the degree of coupling of the two in geographical distribution and distribution of research institutions.The analyzed results show as below:most of the ESI highly cited papers are co-published papers;there is an overlap in the geographical distribution of the highly cited papers and the highly cited researchers.Moreover,the highly cited papers and highly cited researchers in the field of biology and biochemistry are mainly from universities rather than research institutions.
