随着计算机技术、网络技术和软件技术的快速发展,电子化资源建设及网络化信息服务已成为今后各高校图书馆的发展趋势和方向。电子阅览室是指以计算机技术和网络通信技术为基础,集电子型文献(如磁盘、光盘、网络信息等)咨询、阅览、服务为一体的现代化多功能阅览室。电子阅览室的建立和发展是现代计算机技术、多媒体技术和网络通信技术飞速发展的产物。本文从个人从事图书馆电子阅览室管理工作的实践经验出发,对电子阅览室的功能及服务展开了详细分析,介绍了现代化信息技术对图书馆电子阅览室的积极影响,旨在提高图书馆的服务质量。

With the rapid development of computer technology,network technology and software technology,the construction of electronic resources and network information service have become the development trend and direction of university libraries in the future.Electronic reading room refers to a modern multi-functional reading room based on computer technology and network communication technology,which integrates electronic documents(such as disk,CD,network information,etc.)with consultation,reading and service.The establishment and development of electronic reading room is the product of the rapid development of modern computer technology,multimedia technology and network communication technology.Starting from personal experience in the management of electronic reading rooms in libraries,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the functions and services of electronic reading rooms,and introduces the positive impact of modern information technology on electronic reading rooms in libraries,aiming at improving the service quality of libraries.
