Mr Novak regarded sulfur cap and automation technology as the two major hot spots in 2019. But he also said that the environmental protection goal in 2030, in 2050, or ship automation vision of the future, could not be achieved overnight, needing to collect as much information as possible, from now on to prepare for the future of the industry. He said that he thought it really depended on whatthat ship was going to do. If the vessel was going to be traveling worldwide trade and did not have specific ports to call on, then scrubber solutions could be a very good solution, especially for larger vessels, because you had the room to put them on. If you were going to specific ports where you could, know the fuel that you were going to get at those specific locations, then a fuel strategy might be a morereliable strategy.
