In view of the welding quality problems of the upper cylinder of a certain equipment in the early welding process of the cylinder and flange, this paper analyzes the nature of defects and the causes of defects, so as to adjust the welding process and work out the corresponding rectification measures. The effectiveness of the measures is verified by the welding of the lower cylinder,which provides a guarantee for the quality control of the welding seam of the follow-up welding of the cylinder.
