Construction of Multi-Modal Corpus for English for Specific Purposes

多模态语料库是指在VR技术、情景交互技术等多媒体技术支持下收集音频、视频等语料,全面记录语言运用的真实语境,从多个模态分析语言在语音、语义、语用等方面的全貌。基于对国内外多模态语料库的研究综述,专门用途英语多模态语料库的提出具有新颖性和必要性,对专门用途英语教学具有改革意义。

Multi-modal corpus is based on audio,video and other multimedia materials.In the multivariate context,the full picture of language is reflected which is consist of phonetics,semantics and pragmatics and so on.Based on the literature review of multi-modal corpus from home and broad,the application of the multi-modal corpus in English for Specific Purposes(ESP)has the novelty and necessity,which is of great significance to the teaching of ESP.The use of Elan software is conducive to building a multi-modal corpus in ESP.
