The paper makes an analysis of the common problems of power consumption inspection and the countermeasures for preventing electricity stealing. Firstly, it expounds some common methods of electricity stealing in daily life, such as non electricity meter stealing, undercurrent stealing, phase shifting and so on. Secondly, it analyzes the problems of the lack of laws and regulations for electricity consumption inspection, the lack of standardization of electricity consumption inspection procedures and so on. Finally, some effective countermeasures are put forward, such as strengthening laws and regulations, carrying out work in accordance with regulations, intensifying propaganda and strengthening the work of electricity consumption inspection, so as to promote the better development of our society.
