汉代海阳侯国及海陵城考

An Investigation of Haiyang Hou State and Hailing City of Han Dynasty

泰州,古称海阳、海陵。以往学界多据《汉书·地理志》所载,将始置临淮郡的武帝元狩六年(前117),作为海陵初置的时间,对此前的海陵历史及汉代海陵城也多语焉不详。经考证,海陵在秦代置县,汉初为海阳侯国的封域,汉代海陵城的大致位置位于今泰州市海陵区。

Taizhou,was known as Haiyang or Hailing in ancient times.The academic world,mostly on basis of recordings from Geography Records,The Book of Former Han ,previously took the sixth year of the Reign of Yuanshou (117 BC) when Emperor Wu first established Linhuai County as the time when Hailing was first established.There were little details about Hailing's history in the past and the Hailing City of Han Dynasty.Through our investigation,we learned that Hailing was established as a county in Qin Dynasty.In the early years of Han Dynasty,it was the fiefdom of Haiyang Hou State.The approximate location of Hailing City of Han Dynasty was in the current Hailing District of Taizhou City.
