龟甲轮属中国新记录种(轮虫门:真轮纲:游泳目:臂尾轮科)

A new recorded species of Keratella (Rotifera: Monogononta: Ploima: Brachiondae) to China

记述了采自上海的中国新记录种凹腹龟甲轮虫(Keratella procurva Thorpe 1891),该种的特征为:腹部显著凹陷,前端有6刺,其中中间2刺最长,后端有2个不对称的棘刺.并根据光学显微镜(LM)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)照片描述了该种的形态特征.

One new record species ( Keratella procurva Thorpe 1891),was collected from Shanghai,China.The species is characterized with deeply concave ventral surface,and six anterior spines,of which the middle pair are by far the longest,and two unequal posterior spines.According to the light microscope (LM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) photographs,the morphological characteristics were described.
