Hybridity, the Cultural Identity of Hong Kong under the Migration Space:The Case of the “Hong Kong Writing” in Hong Kong's Novels since the 1980s

混杂性是"香港"这个流徙空间内非常重要的文化身份特征。从考察20世纪80年代以来香港小说中的"香港书写"可知,香港应被视作"成为"的过程和"开放"的意符,作家们的身份认同意识主要表现为以下三个维度—关系性、叙事性和想象性。因此,各种"香港"的故事既是复数的,也是"开放的能指",共同展现出这座都市日新月异的景观。

Hybridity is a significant cultural identity in the “Hong Kong” space. Hong Kong should be regarded as a process of “becoming” and a symbol of “openness”. From the perspective of “Hong Kong writing” in Hong Kong novels since the 1980s, writers’ identity consciousness mainly lies in the following three dimensions, namely, relation, narration and imagination. Therefore, the stories of “Hong Kong” are both plural and “open signifier” to show the ever-changing landscape of the city.
