《无穷镜》探讨了多种人生态度和价值选择的意蕴,所有人物的精神世界图景是独立且对峙的,这种对峙在故事中并没有通过辩证的发展得到消除,或是融合统一在作者主导的思想意识框架之下,而是呈现为相互独立、价值相当的开放状态,这使作品在一定意义上具有了复调小说的特性。

Infinity Mirror explores the implications of various life attitudes and value choices. All the characters and their spiritual world are independent and confrontational. This kind of confrontation is not eliminated through the dialectical development at the end of the narrative. It is not unified under the authoritative and dominant ideological framework of the author's authority. However, it still shows an open state with independence and equal values. So the text has the characteristic of polyphony novels in a certain sense.
