从《习近平谈治国理政》英译看政论外宣翻译策略

Translation Strategies of Political Texts Based on the C-E Translation of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China

外宣翻译既要传神译出中国政治文化的特点,又要保留时政文体的准确性和严肃性,还要努力将独具特色的中国文化介绍给西方读者。从文化翻译视域解读《习近平谈治国理政》英译本中的文化翻译策略,立足文本综合考量直译法、释义法、意译法等翻译方法的异同,对比实例分析得出:政论外宣翻译应充分考虑文化因素,充分发挥译者的主观能动性,有的放矢地根据具体语境灵活运用不同的翻译策略,各种方法可侧重使用或融合并用,才能使译文达到政论外宣翻译的跨文化传播效果。

The C-E publicity translation should not only convey the characteristics of Chinese political culture,but also preserve the accuracy and seriousness of current political style.It should also strive to introduce the unique Chinese culture to Western readers.From the perspective of cultural translation,this paper interprets the strategies of cultural translation in the English version of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China ,and considers the similarities and differences of literal translation,interpretation and free translation methods based on the comprehensive consideration of the text.It is concluded from the comparative analysis of examples that cultural factors should be fully taken into account,and the translator's subjective initiative should be brought into full play.Only by flexibly applying different translation strategies according to specific contexts and focusing on the use or integration of various methods can the translation achieve the cross-cultural communication effect of C-E publicity translation of political texts.
