摘要
仿写是初中英语写作课程的常用教学方法,但是仿写的教学效果探讨主要集中于教学过程和学生的作文完成情况,对于仿写是否有助于促进初中学生作文语言质量的实证研究较少。实验发现,仿写范文内容的确可以提高初中低年级学生命题作文的语言质量。但是多次重复使用某一句型结构,仿写范文结构则不能提高学生的语言质量。由此提出,由于仿写是内容创新和对范文语言结构模仿的结合,教师在初中低年级英语写作教学中,可采用范文仿写的方法,有助于提高学生的写作语言输出,更好地培养他们的英语写作能力。
Imitating writing is a common teaching method for English writing in the lower grades in junior middle schools.However,empirical research into the effects of imitating writing on the students’ language quality remains sparse although the focus of the previous researches has been on the discussion of teaching procedures and the completion of the writing tasks. Through a writing experiment,this study has found that imitating writing can improve written fluency,accuracy,and complexity of students’ writing performance in lower grades in junior middle schools,especially fluency and accuracy. However,it has also found that imitating writing fails to enhance the students’ language quality when the writing task focuses on using one major sentence structure repeatedly. This study suggests that teachers can adopt imitating writing in their teaching,which can promote the quality of students’ language output and develop their ability to write because imitating writing is the combination of content innovation and language imitation.
