Precision medicine is a medical model that tailors medical decisions and treatments to individual patients. With the advent of the era of precision medicine, there is a fine diagnosis of clinical requirements, so that drug research and development can be headed in a personalized and precise direction. New drug development in the context of precision medicine faces new opportunities and challenges. This article outlines the hotspots of drug development in the context of precision medicine from four aspects : the in-depth application of genomics ,the targeted design of drugs, the construction of new drug testing and performance measurement models, and the combination of big data and genomic technologies.
