This is an interview on comparative literature with Susan Bassnett,Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Warwick,conducted by Zhang Cha,Professor of English Language and Literature at Sichuan Normal University.In this interview,Professor Susan Bassnett describes how her views about comparative literature changed over time,expands what the cultural turn was,explains why she is dismissive of influence study,gives her response to accusations of Eurocentrism,analyses where comparative literature is going,and presents advice to scholars of comparative literature.
