On the Building Ceremony and Its Cultural Connotation of Guiqiong People in Kangding Area

下基脚、立大门、安中柱、封龙口是康定贵琼藏族建筑习俗四大建筑仪式,具有浓郁的超自然神土地神、祖先之灵(如鲁班三郎)以及其他种类的灵魂(鬼魂、凶神恶煞等)。他们对天地、祖先及地盘神的信仰,血亲姻亲的敬奉与区分,在建筑房屋过程仪式中得到确认。仪式在人与祖先之间架起了一座无形的桥梁,实现了凡俗与神圣实体的贯通,隐喻和象征了建构的社会秩序。

To set the building foundation,fix a gate,mount pillars and complete the construction are four building ceremony of Guiqiong people in Kangding Area. The ceremony is rich of supernatural forces from the deities such as Gnome,God of the Ancestor( such as Luban Sanlang) and other types of souls( ghosts,devils). They worship and believe in their ancestors and Gnome and relationship by marriages between consanguinity and affinity will be confirmed in the process of building the ceremony. The ceremony seems to set up an invisible bridge between people and ancestors by which the communication between human and deities is realized and the social order is metaphored and symbolized,too.
