Research on belief in Chan master Fuhu in western Fujian——A case study of Guangfu Yard in Changting County

伏虎禅师信俗文化是闽西民间文化的重要组成部分。伏虎禅师作为为民造福的人格神,在客家民系的形成、发展进程中起到重要的道德教化作用,在闽西民间得到信奉。在客家文化(闽西)生态保护实验区实施过程中,应加强对伏虎禅师信俗的保护。

Fuhu belief is an important part of folk beliefs Fujian in western. Chan master Fuhu, as a personality god who brings benefits to the people, plays a significant role in regulating people’s behaviors through moral cultivation in the formation and development of Hakka people.In the implementation process of Hakka culture(western Fujian) ecological protection experimental area, the protection of the belief in Chan master Fuhu should be strengthened.
