中西方教育的“水乳交融” 中外合办大学:中国教育走向世界的新模式

The Blending of Chinese and Western Education

2001年12月11日,中国正式成为WTO(世界贸易组织)成员。中国此次的“入世”有一个重要的承诺就是对外开放,这其中也包含了一直过于“本土化”的教育市场。在全球化大背景下,国际化教育也开始越来越受到中国家长和学生的青睐。

In the process of globalization, education is indispensable. Meanwhile, in the process of globalization and internationalization of Education, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools plays an important role as a bridge as well as a goal. On December 11,2001, China formally became a member of the World Trade Organization(WTO). One important promise of China’s accession is that it will open up to the outside world,including the education market, which has always been too "local". In the context of globalization, international education is becoming more and more popular among Chinese parents and students. In 2018, the Studying Abroad magazine visited four of them and had a conversation with their leaders to find out the mode of running a Sino-foreign university.
