吴景旭是明末诸生,入清后未仕,专注于诗词创作。吴景旭有《南山堂填词》一卷,共50首,收录在《全清词》。他的词包括咏物、记事和抒怀三种题材。艺术上善用典故,注重练字、练句,语言上雅俗并存,是形成吴词特色的关键所在。

Wu Jingxu is a scholar in the late Ming Dynasty.After entering the Qing Dynasty,Wu Jingxu was not an official but devoted himself to the creation of poetry and prose.Wu Jingxu owned one volume of 50 poems names Nanshantang Poetry,which was included into Collection of Poetry in Qing Dynasty.His poems includes three themes:chanting,memorizing,and expressing.The art of his poems is good at allusion,focusing on calligraphy and sentences,and elegance can be seen in his language and vulgarity.These are key to forming the characteristics of Wu Ci.
