Lu Yao’s"Life"was awarded as the national outstanding novella in 1982.For a long time,the novella"Life"was constantly reviewed and interpreted,which aroused people’s thinking and resonance to life.This paper attempted to start from the typical growth environment of Gao Jialin,during the intersection of urban and rural areas on the eve of rural economic transformation.Lu Yao explored the way of realizing the life value of rural educated youth in a special historical period.And Gao Jialin’s image was presented with aesthetic implication.
