Comparative Analysis of Translation of Children's Literary Work The Secret Garden

《秘密花园》作为一部优秀的儿童文学作品,一直受到广大儿童的喜爱。目前中国图书市场上有多种版本的《秘密花园》译作,但翻译质量参差不齐,因此,以李文俊和张建平两者的译作为研究样本,从准确性、可读性、儿童文学性以及译者翻译观四个方面,对译作进行批评,以使《秘密花园》的译作更适宜儿童阅读。

The Secret Garden is an excellent children's literature work,which enjoys its great popularity among children.There are many versions of its translation in the China's book market,nevertheless their quality varies greatly.To make the translation of The Secret Garden more suitable for children's reading,this paper tries to compare and criticize Li Wenjun's and Zhang Jianping's translations from four aspects:accuracy,readability,children's literary style and translator's translation thoughts.
