This paper takes the metaphorical technique of the illustrations that Robert Innocenti illustrated in The Star of David.This paper looks into the arrangement of the picture of the whole illustrated book,the compositin and color of single picture to analyze the application of metaphor,and point out the guiding and enlighting functions of the metaphor in specific illustrated book to the readers.
