Folk Contract Doucuments and Compilation of Large Chinese Characters Dictionaries from the Song and Yuan Dynasties

近年来不断发现并刊布的宋元以来民间契约文书,因其具有数量巨大、真实具体、手写、原始、唯一等多重特征,显得十分珍贵。这些契约文书中含有大量近代汉字的异写形体,可以为包括《中华字海》《汉语大字典》等在内的大型字典中的音义待考字提供线索,纠正少数无书证和语例字释义的不确,为少数文字提供适当的语例,同时可考察部分近代汉字形体演变的轨迹。

The contract doucuments since Song and Yuan dynasties constantly discovered and published in recent years are more precious, because they have features such as huge number, true and concrete, manuscript, original and uniqueness. As these contract doucuments have a large number of Chinese folk characters, they can provide clues for the unacquainted Chinese characters in large Chinese characters dictionaries including Zhonghua Zihai(《中华字海》)and The Chinese Dictionary(《汉语大字典》),correct the indeter-minacy of characters’ meaning which have not documentary evidences and examples, and provide suitable examples for some characters.
