In this article,based on the statistics of casting defects in the production process of calcium carbide pot,reasons for the defects in production of heavy ductile iron castings are expounded,and the corresponding control measures are put forward through the analysis,so as to effectively resolve the problem of casting defects. Thus it provides some solutions for the future production of the similar products.
