方东美人格超升论探析

Analysis of Fang Dongmei's Personality Super-promotion Theory

方东美在论述中国哲学之精神及其发展时,认为儒、释、道三派会通之处便是中国哲学的特点。他另辟视角,由三家均肯定"人性可使之完美性"出发,提出了"人格超升论",并且认为,儒、释、道三家的"旁通统贯论"和"道论"最终目的是由现实世界提升到理想世界,与此相对应,人的品格也应该上升到"理想化与圆满无缺的人格"。在方东美看来,中国哲学是以人类生命精神价值为中心追求内在人格超越,这样来把握中国哲学的人格精神是极为深刻的。方东美提出的"人格超升论"为我们了解中国哲学的共相,更好地把握儒、释、道三家哲学特质,弘扬和传播中国哲学智慧提供了新思路。

When Fang Dongmei talked about the spirit of Chinese philosophy and its development,he thought that the common of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism were the characteristics of Chinese philosophy.Among them,he opened another perspective,starting from the Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism that affirmed that“human nature can make it perfect”,and put forward the“personality super-promotion theory”.In addition,he believes that the ultimate purpose of Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism is to upgrade from the real world to the ideal world.The character of the corresponding person should also rise to the“idealized and complete personality”.In Fang Dongmei s view,Chinese philosophy is centered on the spiritual value of human life to pursue internal personality transcendence.In this way,it is extremely profound to grasp the personality spirit of Chinese philosophy.Fang Dongmei put forward the“personality hyper-promotion theory as a common phase of understanding Chinese philosophy.Based on this,it has been interpreted in a nonconventional way.This provides a new idea for us to grasp the three philosophical qualities of Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism and promote and disseminate Chinese philosophical wisdom.
