Value analysis and contemporary protection planning of Zhaoqing Duanzhou ancient city wall

国家级文物保护单位端州古城墙始建于北宋,经历千年变迁至今仍保存完好,现今社会各界对其的保护也愈发重视。从城市格局、历史发展以及考古发现等方面总结端州古城墙的历史价值,并结合当代城市发展需要,提出针对古城墙的保护规划重点及其意义。

The ancient city wall of Duanzhou is a national cultural relics protection unit. It was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. Nowadays,the protection of the society has paid more and more attention. This paper summarizes the historical value of Duanzhou ancient city wall from the aspects of urban pattern,historical development and archaeological discovery,and puts forward the protection planning focus and significance of Duanzhou ancient city wall in combination with the needs of contemporary urban development.
