Group Polarization in Political Participation:Management and Prevention

政治参与需要借助群体的力量才能够发挥出更大影响力,然而作为群体的政治参与过程中又伴随着群体极化现象。群体极化在政治参与进程中往往会产生放大效应,将较微弱的政治事件逐步引发为激烈的政治事件。政治参与中的群体极化多表现为情绪的释放及转移并伴有暴力行为,极化的出现与环境的刺激、领导者和强制力的约束以及责任分散的可能性有着不可分割的联系。虽然政治参与的群体极化现象能够引起政府相关部门的重视,但是其带来的社会负面影响是难以弥补的。有效、合理的政治参与,防止参与中的极化现象,需要群体领导者的全方位组织协调,更需要政府的快速应急能力,且辅以责任追究机制的保障。

Political participation can make a greater influence with the help of the power of communities,however,group polarization is generally accompanied in the political participation process.Group polarization tends to produce an amplified effect in the process of political participation,making the relatively weak political events trigger intense political events.The polarization of group participation in political participation is manifested in the release and transfer of emotions accompanied by violent behaviors.The emergence of polarization is inextricably linked with the stimulation of the environment,the constraints of leaders and coercive forces,and the possibility of diffusion of responsibility.Although the group polarization of political participation can attract the attention of relevant government departments,the its negative social impact is irreparable.The effective and rational political participation,to prevent the group polarization,calls for comprehensive coordination for group leaders,rapid emergency capacity of the government and accountability mechanisms to guarantee.
