从《说文解字》看汉代人对刑罚文化的认识

Study on the Cognition about the Penalty Culture in Han Dynasty from the View of Shuo Wen Jie Zi

汉字蕴藏着很多古代社会情况的材料。从汉字中,我们可以了解到中国社会生活的各个方面。《说文解字》作为一部系统的字书,记录了秦汉以前的社会生活文化,特别是对刑罚文化的记载具有重要的文化价值。以许慎解释的视角,分析30个刑罚字的字形、字义,可以看出汉代的刑罚类型、力度、工具的发展以及制度的演变。

Chinese characters contain many materials of ancient social situations,from which we can learn various aspects of Chinese social life.As a systematic character book,Shuo Wen Jie Zi records the social life culture before Qin and Han dynasties,especially the record of punishment culture has important cultural value.From the perspective of Xu Shen’s explanation,by analyzing the glyphs and meanings of 30 characters of penalty,from which can be seen the types and strengths of penalty,the development of tools and the evolution of institutions in the Han Dynasty.
