With the development of our country’s economy,the level of science and technology has been greatly improved,which has obviously changed the production and living conditions of modern society.In this context,the power industry has also achieved rapid development,not only expanding the scale of power system construction,but also its primary equipment has begun to gradually develop to the direction of intelligence.Therefore,in the design of power system,we should accurately grasp the main trend of development and innovate the traditional design ideas and methods.In this paper,the development trend of primary equipment design in power system and the content of intelligent design are analyzed and discussed.
