介绍了水乡站STATCOM基本原理、主要设备组成、基本技术数据,主电路、控制、保护及水冷系统的主要技术,说明了水乡站STATCOM容量世界最大、额定电压高及技术极其先进,是电力电子技术、控制技术及计算机技术综合应用的结晶,其优异灵活的调控性能、暂态快速响应能力及输出的大容量功率是其在系统故障过程中保障电网安全稳定运行的基础。已有的运行实践证明:在系统故障时,水乡站STATCOM能可靠动作,响应时间小于20ms,暂态最大可提供300Mvar无功功率。

This paper introduces the basic principles of STATCOM,main equipment composition,basic technical data,main circuit,control,protection and water cooling system.It shows that the STATCOM capacity of water township station is the largest,the rated voltage is high,and the technology is extremely advanced.It is the power and electricity subtechnology,control technology and computer technology complex.Combined with application crystallization,its excellent and flexible control performance,transient fast response capability and large capacity power output are the basis of ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid in the process of system failure.The existing operation practice has proved that when the system fails,the STATCOM can reliably operate,the response time is less than 20 ms,and the maximum transient can provide 300 MVar reactive power.
