The folk belief system in ancient Guangxi is classified into legitimate worship and unauthorized worships because it is affected by different factors for cultural and official values.Legitimate worship occupied advantageous position because of function and grade.Unauthorized worships was struck by officials.The analysis of the belief situations in ancient Guangxi from different perspectives can help us to understand the reality of social life at that time.It can also help us to understand the standards and principles about the establishment of belief system both in the Han nationality culture and the minority culture.
