父的缺席与子的逃离——评林培源长篇小说《以父之名》

Father's Absence and Child's Escape: Comment on Lin Peiyuan's novel In the Name of Father

在《以父之名》中,人物都经历了父辈的缺席,大多因此找不到身份归宿,踏上了离乡去寻找精神归依的道路。作者试图通过剖析这一群体自卑、焦虑、迷茫的精神状态来揭示乡村传统家庭构建起来的父权观念断层后,子辈身份的迷失及离乡后普遍存在的精神困境——地理故乡的陌生化和精神故乡的不可得。但小说中表现出来的对刺激性情节和痛楚的过分追求,是林培源在创作中存在的局限。

In the novel In the Name of Father,the characters have experienced the absence of their fathers,most of whom can not find their identity at home,and embark on the road of leaving home to find spiritual home.By analyzing this group's inferiority,anxiety and confusion,the author tries to reveal the lost identity of the children after the break of the patriarchal concept constructed by the traditional family in the countryside and the spiritual dilemma that prevails after leaving the country - the defamiliarization of geographical hometown and the inaccessibility of spiritual hometown.At the same time,the author Lin Peiyuan's excessive pursuit of stimulating plots and pain in his novels is the limitation of his creation.
