书院是古代一种重要的教育机构,始于唐代,在宋代发展到高峰。肇庆地区的古代书院众多,最早的创建于宋代,明代创建的书院最多,到清代,书院的创建趋向于民间化,功能开始多样化。对肇庆地区的古代书院作了详细梳理,着重研究了其分布与流变。

Academies of classical learning,an important educational institution in ancient times,began in the Tang Dynasty and reached its peak in the Song Dynasty.There were many ancient academies in Zhaoqing.These academies were first established in the Song Dynasty,and the majority was established in the Ming Dynasty.In the Qing Dynasty,the establishment of academies tended to be popular,and the functions began to diversify.This paper aims to comb in detail the ancient academies in Zhaoqing and emphatically studies their distribution and evolution.
