社会责任视角下地方本科院校商务英语专业建设思路与方案——以肇庆学院为例

The Ideas and Plan of Business English Program Development in Conformity with the Social Responsibility of Local Universities:Exemplified with Zhaoqing University

以《高等学校商务英语专业本科教学质量国家标准》为依据,从商务英语专业要服务经济发展这一社会责任视角,提出了地方高校分类分层建设商务英语专业的思路和方案。以肇庆学院为例,首先通过分析地方高校所在区域社会经济发展需求和学校定位,明确地方高校商务英语专业的社会责任;接下来提出地方高校商务英语专业建设的思路;最后依据建设思路提出地方本科院校商务英语专业建设的四阶段实施方案。

Based on the National Criterion of Teaching Quality for BA Program in Business English and from the perspective of the social responsibility of Business English Program serving the development of economy,this paper proposes the idea and plan that developing Business English Program is oriented by the demands of local economy and the characteristics of a local university.With Zhaoqing University as an example,the demands of local economy and the orientation of the local university are analyzed so as to specify the social responsibility of the exemplified university.Next,the idea of developing Business English Program in a local university is proposed.Then,supported by the idea,a four-stage scheme of developing Business Program in a local university is outlined.
