Donkey was an important transportation in the Tang and Song dynasties.Many scholars also took donkey as the main way of travel,and wrote many poems about donkey.These works expressed the feelings of the literati who were not lucky or sentimental,so that their living conditions and inner world can be observed.Under the recitation of the literati in the Tang and Song dynasties,the donkey was integrated into poetry,painting and daily life.Even the poet’s riding had evolved into a classic story,which then became a style of admiration for generations.
