摘要
目的探讨项目式教学模式在医科类大学英语教学中的设计和实施与学生对完成项目的兴趣、完成技巧与完成效果的评估。方法采取随机整群抽样法对昆明医科大学2016级、2017级不同专业共784同学作为研究对象,采用问卷调查的形式,调查的内容主要包括学生对项目式学习模式所设计项目的学习兴趣、项目完成和个人语言能力等相关问题,问卷采用多选一式。结论项目式学习模式有利于调动学生的学习积极性与自主性,有助于培养学生与他人合作的沟通与协作能力,有助于提高学生对大学英语听、说、读、写能力的融合和实际运用能力。同时,应该通过完善项目设计和教师对项目完成的参与度,进一步提高项目式学习模式的应用效果,更好地实现教学目标。
Objectives This study aims to examine the application of Project-based Learning in college English teaching courses,specifically in Kunming Medical University,including its effect in stimulating students'learning interests,how students finish the projects as well as their performance in the accomplishment of the projects.Methods By cluster sampling,784 students in Grades 2016 and 2017 in Kunming Medical University were chosen as objects with a questionnaire in this research.Conclusion Project-based learning is helpful in stimulating students'learning interests and it also encourages students to actively participate in the study of the courses.Meanwhile,project-based learning also helps to improve students'ability of communication and cooperation with others during the process of accomplishing the projects.Furthermore,project-based learning encourages the situated use and the integration of language skills for the students.The improvements in the design of the projects and the increase of teachers'involvement are needed for better application of project-based learning in college English course in the future.
