柳青一生重视理论学习,具有扎实的马列主义理论功底,这正应合了毛泽东《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》强调的"必须有马克思列宁主义的知识"的要求。柳青的大学生涯是在西北大学的前身——国立西安临时大学度过的。柳青在国立西安临时大学的学习生涯,正是其构筑马列主义理论基础的重要时期。求学期间,柳青接受了沈志远、曹靖华和季陶达等多位曾留苏学人的马列主义理论教育。

Liu Qing attached great importance to theoretical studies all his life and had a solid theoretical literacy of Marxism-Leninism.This point should be in line with Mao Zedong"Speech at the Yan′an Literature and Art Forum",which stressed that"knowledge of Marxism-Leninism is necessary"requirements.Liu Qing spent his college career at the National Xi′an Temporary University,the predecessor of Northwest University.This is the important period during which he built the theoretical foundation of Marxism-Leninism.During his schooldays,Liu accepted the Marxist-Leninist theory education of Shen Zhiyuan,Cao Jinghua,Ji Taoda and other famous scholars who had studied in the Soviet Union.
