Combined "Treatment by Stage" and "Selection Formula by Syndrome Differentiation" in the Treatment of Subacute Thyroiditis

This article summarized professor WANG Dong-cai's clinical experience in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis.Professor WANG Dong-cai combined"treatment by stage"and"treatment based on syndrome differentiation"in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis,according to the different clinical manifestations of the initial,middle,late and recurrence of subacute thyroiditis,grasping the pathogenesis of disease occurrence,development,change and its outcome.The basic treatment methods such as"relieving exterior syndrome","clearing interior heat","invigorating and dispersing therapy"and"promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis"were adopted flexibly,at the same time paying attention to"regulating qi activity",which ultimately improved the clinical symptoms of patients.
