专业评估是高等教育改革和发展到一定阶段的必然选择,是学校全面掌握专业建设情况的有效手段。本文通过梳理桂林理工大学在专业评估过程中所做的探索,结合新一轮专业评估实践,对地方高校专业评估进行分析和探讨,并对下一步如何完善专业评估工作提出思考。

Professional assessment is the inevitable choice for the reform and development of higher education at a certain stage. The assessment is also an effective means for the school to master professional construction in an all-round way. Combining with the practice of new round professional assessment,this paper discusses the exploration of a technology university(Guilin University of Technology) in the professional assessment and analyzes the professional assessment of local universities so as to put forward a new way of thinking to improve the professional assessment work in higher education.
