Liu Wen-dian’s political thought is very abundant,among which patriotism is particularly prominent. Patriotic thoughts of Liu Wen-dian mainly manifested in three aspects: He had a thorough knowledge of both Western and traditional Chinese,and he took part in the Chinese revolution to serve the country; combined with his experience,he analyzed deeply to wake up Chinese people; based on their own teaching occupation,he taught and educated people to make China more powerful. Study on Liu Wen-dian s patriotism is one of the important ways to promote the contemporary value of Liu Wen-dian’s thought. Liu Wen-dian’s patriotism can give the contemporary youth Ideological and political education with positive enlightenment from many aspects: study hard and lay a solid foundation to serve the motherland; critical reflection,rational sincere patriotism; speak louder than words,put patriotism into College Students’ daily life.
