现代性给思想政治教育提出了全新的挑战,也重新塑造了人的审美之维与思想道德之维的关系,给审美与思想政治教育的深度融合提供了时代契机。审美活动不是单纯的感官娱乐,它渗透着人们的价值判断,思想政治教育可以利用审美的价值构建功能塑造教育对象的德性之美;审美活动是一种情感体验活动,思想政治教育可以利用审美的情感升华功能塑造教育对象的境界之美;审美活动伴随着形象认知,思想政治教育可以利用审美的形象认知功能确立教育对象的科学信仰,塑造教育对象的信仰之美;审美活动是一种自由的体验活动,在自由的体验中,审美主体实现了人格的统一,思想政治教育可以利用审美的自由发展功能塑造教育对象的人格之美。

Modernity has brought new challenges to ideological and political education,and has reshaped the relationship between human aesthetic dimension and ideological and moral dimension,providing an opportunity for the deep integration of aesthetic and ideological and political education. Aesthetic activities are not pure sensory entertainment,for it permeates people’s value judgment,so ideological and political education can use the aesthetic value construction function to shape the virtue of educational objects; aesthetic activities are emotional experience activities,and ideological and political education can make use of the emotional sublimation function of aesthetics to shape the beauty of the realm of educational objects; aesthetic activities are accompanied by image cognition. Ideological and political education can make use of the function of aesthetic image cognition to establish the scientific belief of the educational object and shape the beauty of the belief of the educational object; the aesthetic activity is a kind of experience of freedom,so in the experience of freedom,the aesthetic subject realizes the unity of personality,and the ideological and political education can make use of the function of aesthetic free development to shape the personality beauty of the object of education. Therefore,the deep integration of aesthetics and ideological and political education not only enhances the effectiveness of ideological and political education,but also helps to resolve the existential anxiety of modern people.
